These eggs may have been on the market for some time, but my grocer started carrying them not so long ago. The people responsible for the naming may have been completely out of it. Or maybe they were going for the humorous marketing strategy. They mention on the label that “poo poo” means rooster’s comb in a local dialect. I believe in most other dialects it means…well, you know what it means.
